  23.  We believe the program to be bug free and fully functional.  We 
  24.  and others have been using it for months without problems.

  26.  Since this is the first release, we encourage any feedback as to 
  27.  what you would like to see in future versions, and also any bugs 
  28.  or problems with the program.

  36.  Unlicensed copies of Address Manager are 100% fully functional.

  38.  Unlicensed copies of Address Manager have a pesky registration 
  39.  reminder screen that pops up whenever you start the program.

  79.                HOW TO INSTALL ADDRESS MANAGER

  81.   How to install Address Manager depends on whether you have one
  82.   of our special diskettes with the snazzy setup program, or have
  83.   downloaded an evaluation version from a BBS.
  84.  
  85.   If you downloaded a version...
  86.  
  87.         1) Create a new directory to hold both the Address Manager program and
  88.            its associated files. All files MUST reside in the same directory.
  89.            For instance, the new directroy might be:
  90.     
  91.            C:\ADDRESS
  92.  
  93.         2) Put all the files from the evaluation diskette or the uncompressed
  94.            download into the new directory.
  95.  
  96.         3) Start Windows (if you are not already doing all this from Windows)
  97.  
  98.         4) Create a Program Manager icon for ADDRESS.EXE.  Refer to the Windows
  99.            documentation for details on how this is done.

  103.   If you have one of our diskettes with the snazzy setup program...

  106.         1) Close down all extraneous Windows applications.  (You do have to be
  107.            in Windows to run SETUP.EXE)

  109.         2) Double-Click on the SETUP.EXE program.

  111.         3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial directory,
  112.            or accept the given default (C:\ADDRESS).

  115.   NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE ADDRESS MANAGER UP AND RUNNING, SELECT THE FILE/SETTINGS... MENU
  116.        AND PUT YOUR CORRECT AREA CODE INSIDE.

  122.  Address Manager has on-line support on a number of computer systems.

  125.  First of all, the home of Address Manager is on Compuserve, in the
  126.  WINAPA forum, in the Wilson WindowWare section (#15 currently).  Also
  127.  the latest and greatest downloads are available from DL15 of the
  128.  WINAPA forum.  The Wilson WindowWare section of the WINAPA forum
  129.  is checked on a daily basis, and all questions will be responded to.

  131.  The FidoNet Windows echomail conference is also monitored for Windows
  132.  questions in general.  Questions about Windows and Address Manager will
  133.  be answered in the echo.

  166.  SOFTWARE LICENSE

  168.  Address Manager is not and has never been public domain 
  169.  software, nor is it free software. 
  170.  
  171.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use Address
  172.  Manager on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose of determining 
  173.  whether Address Manager is suitable for their needs.  The use 
  174.  of Address Manager, except for the initial 21-day trial, 
  175.  requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of Address 
  176.  Manager, outside of the initial 21-day trial, by any person, 
  177.  business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is 
  178.  strictly prohibited.

  180.  A single user license permits a user to use Address Manager
  181.  only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  182.  program on different computers, but may not use the program
  183.  on more than one computer at the same time.

  185.  No one may modify or patch the Address Manager executable files 
  186.  in any way,  including but not limited to decompiling, 
  187.  disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  189.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute Address

  193.   1)    Address Manager must be copied in unmodified form, complete

  206.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops)
  207.            may make Address Manager available for downloading only as
  208.            long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or
  209.            time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board
  210.            system is permitted as long as there is not a specific
  211.            charge for the download of Address Manager.

  213.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software approved by
  214.            the ASP may distribute Address Manager, subject to the
  215.            above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  216.            approved vendors may distribute Windows Reminder only after
  217.            obtaining written permission from Wilson WindowWare.
  218.            Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  219.            details (enclose your catalog).  Vendors may charge a
  220.            disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated
  221.            to the Address Manager product, may not exceed eight dollars.

  223.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of the 
  224.            Address Manager diskette to their members, subject to 
  225.            the above conditions, without specific permission.  
  226.            Non-profit groups may collect a disk duplication fee 
  227.            not to exceed five dollars.

  229.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  231.   Wilson WindowWare guarantees your satisfaction with this
  232.   product for a period of 90 days from the date of original
  233.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with Address Manager
  234.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  235.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  237.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that all disks provided are
  238.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  239.   normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  240.   purchase.

  242.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that the program will perform
  243.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  244.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  245.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  246.   product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  247.   exceed the purchase price of the product.
